Community Skills Workshops

Register Today

The ACAC's Community Skills Workshops are an arts and music skills education program that showcases the rich and diverse talents of Little Rock's Creative Community. Based on the ideas of the "Free School," ACAC has built series of workshops and classes that are interesting, useful, and lots of fun. Classes range from a one-time workshop or a month-long course involving multiple meetings and projects.

The classes are all free or very low-cost. We are committed to this ideal for the long haul. All presenters are volunteers, and any monies collected go strictly either to that's workshop's supplies or back into the ACAC general fund to support its mission. Classes are held at different times throughout the year (typically in the warmer months), so it is important to check back at this website to see what's available.

What we need from you out there in the community is PARTICIPATION. We want this program to be immersed and grounded in community, the folks who make Little Rock such a diverse and creative place. We have creative and knowledgeable people from the community who have skills and want to share them with you.

We're always looking for ideas for additional classes, and presenters as we expand this program into the long term. If you have an idea for a workshop, tell us! If you know someone who would make a good presenter/teacher/facilitator, let us know that too.

Also, if you want to get involved and help to organize this project or others, come to an ACAC meeting. We like new people, and try hard to accommodate needs.
